Dynamic Stretching & Mobilization
Our bodies were designed to move. Modern life, however, is increasingly sedentary, limiting our natural types and ranges of motion and creating restriction in our bodies. Traditionally, massage is performed on a passive, static body rather than actively involving the client on the table. This two day intensive workshop is designed to give the therapist practical tools for actively engaging their clients in the process of opening their bodies from within. Topics will include visual assessment, contract/relax, PNF, reciprocal inhibition and practice integrating these dynamic approaches into the Swedish massage format.
Prerequisite: 70 hours of training. Bring two sheets to class and wear appropriate underclothes for visual assessment.
Tuition: $270.00 ($250.00 if registered 2 weeks in advance).
Successful Marketing
In order to start and run a successful practice, a brand and a business identity needs to be established. This is the core element that feeds into all other marketing techniques. This is the crucial and key ingredient to meeting your monetary goals. A branding process will normally cost the practitioner well over $1,000 but here's your chance to go through this process for a fraction of the cost. This workshop will help you reveal your current identity and desired position as a bodyworker, create a tagline for your business, discover your ideal client, and identify your design aesthetic for your website and business cards.
